Because black mold is a newer version of indoor mold and air quality testing is the only way to find it sometimes, it’s not being attacked before it causes problems.

Lung issues like coughing and wheezing are regularly caused by this kind of mold. It spreads easily and is sometimes only able to be removed through the complete destruction of the area where it is growing. Entire houses have been knocked down to make them livable again.
